How to Cope With Rejection in Network Marketing

Rejection is a harsh reality in the network marketing. However, many people enter this industry totally unprepared for it. That's why new distributors can be so enthusiastic during their first few weeks in the business, and yet they permanently quit after three to six months, often returning to regular jobs! The main reason is that they cannot cope with rejection, and it has reached a point where it has become too 'painful' for them.

If you wanna stay in this industry for good, you must find a way to deal with constant rejection. Many marketers out there claim that they have a "rejection free" system, but in my opinion, no such system exists! Whether you're promoting your MLM online or offline, there's a great deal of rejection, direct or indirectly. We can't pretend that there's no rejection.

The first step to coping and dealing with rejection is to see it from a different perspective. You should tell yourself that hey, our business is built only by 10% to 20% of prospects who actually respond to our promotion. Thus, a 'rejection' is simply a signal for you to move on to the next prospect and look for the people who truly want and need your offer.

Second, realize that you are actually paid for every rejection you experience. For example, you market to 100 prospects and only 4 people responded to your offer by buying a $47 product. So if you multiply $47 by 4, that means, you earned a total of $188 dollars. Now divide that $188 profit with the amount of prospects you marketed to (188 divided by 100). The answer is $1.88. You actually 'earned' $1.88 from each prospect who rejected you! In fact, if you come to think of it, rejection actually increases your income a hundred fold or more.

Third, become the "hunter instead of the hunted", as the popular saying goes. Realize that you have no further business with those people who don't want what you're offering. After you've tried your best to help them but they still do not want to respond, then let them move on to their lives. Then move on with yours. There's no use feeling sorry for yourself and saying, "I'm just not a good enough!".

Move on to the next prospect. Talk to more leads. Most importantly, rejection can be ultimately lessened by using automated internet tools and mass marketing strategies. That's what I do in my business. And if you visit my website today, I'll share to you how it's done.
